This is it! Today is the day, friends. Today is the day that John, Ross, and I send Accursed out into the wild. Well, sorta into the wild. If you’ve been following along over at the Accursed RPG blog and on our facebook page, and I know you have, you’ll know that today, Friday September 13, is the day when we launch the Accursed Kickstarter. You’ve watched us grow. You’ve read the blog articles about the Witches and about Morden and about the Accursed, the tragic heroes who dwell within it. You’ve seen the art we’ve posted. Now, friends, you have a chance to do more than just observe. With the launch of our Kickstarter you, yes you, can help us bring our killer new project to market. Would you like to know more?
Okay, gentle readers. Here’s the deal. John and Ross and I have poured our hearts and souls into Accursed. We’ve busted our asses to bring you an exciting new game filled with drama, horror, pathos, and excitement. We’ve brought the project as far as we can on our own, and now we need your help. With your pledge to our Kickstarter, you can help us pay for more phenomenal art from guys like Alberto Bontempi and Sacha Deiner, and more pro layout and graphic design so that we can bring you a truly world class final product.
Why should you help us fund the project? Well, do you like monster movies? Do you like Savage Worlds? Do you like the sound of playing a classic movie-style monster (mummies, werewolves, living dead, et cetera) in a world turned upside down by a coven of all powerful witches in a setting for Savage Worlds? If you answered “Yes!” to any of these questions, Accursed is totally up your alley. So please come on over to the Accursed RPG Kickstarter page and have a look. We have some pretty great pledge levels, and every backer immediately gets access to a downloadable Accursed players guide/playtesting document for free. This document throws you right into the world of Accursed with all the creatures, Witchbreeds, Edges, Hindrances, guns, and gear to help you get started playing right away. You will need a copy of the Savage Worlds core rulebook and the Horror Companion to play, by the way.
